Oceania Cruises’ Unique Polynesian Itineraries To Offer More In-Depth Exploration

Oceania Cruises’ Unique Polynesian Itineraries To Offer More In-Depth Exploration

Posted on July 3, 2024July 3, 2024 By John McGuire No Comments on Oceania Cruises’ Unique Polynesian Itineraries To Offer More In-Depth Exploration

The oceanic subregion of Polynesia has much to offer with its stunning beaches, diverse flora and fauna, rich culture and archeological sites. Now, thanks to Oceania Cruises, travelers can experience all this and more with the line’s new in-depth itineraries for 2025. Check out the details below.

Voyage Details

Available for both the summer and winter seasons, the Nautica and Regatta will transport travelers to off-the-beaten-path islands, with the itineraries featuring stops at must-see destinations such as Papeete, Nuku Hiva and Bora Bora. Here’s a glimpse into some of the highly anticipated itineraries.

  • Tahitian & Hawaiian Hues – 18 days from Los Angeles to Papeete aboard Nautica. Cruise-goers will overnight in Bora Bora and Papeete and visit Lahaina, Honolulu, Hilo, Raiatea and Moorea. The Nautica departs on January 8, 2025.
  • Tahitian Legends – 10 days roundtrip from Papeete aboard Regatta. Visitors will overnight in Papeete and Bora Bora and visit Moorea, Fakarava, Nuku Hiva, Rangiroa and Raiatea. The Regatta departs on August 16, 2025.
  • Papeete to Honolulu – 15 days from Papeete to Honolulu aboard Regatta. Overnight stops include Bora Bora, Raiatea, Rangiroa, Nuku Hiva, Hilo, Kailua-Kona, Lahaina, Nawiliwili and Honolulu. The Regatta departs on September 15, 2025.

Want to spend more time exploring? Oceania Cruises will be offering longer voyages, allowing travelers to experience the lands of Hawai’i and New Zealand before heading to Polynesia. World Voyages of up to 111 days are also available, ending in Singapore, Cape Town or Barcelona.

Shore Excursions and Ship Details

Having partnered with the luxury and lifestyle travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler, Oceania Cruises’ activities and shore excursions have been handpicked by the magazine’s editors. Travelers can four-wheel drive through Moorea and Taipivai Valley, tour a vanilla plantation in Taha’a, picnic on an islet motu, snorkel or sail via catamaran in Bora Bora and tour Tahiti’s iconic west coast.

After a long day of adventures, cruise-goers will be sure to find ultimate relaxation on the Nautica and Regatta as the small, luxurious ships artfully blend contemporary elements with casual elegance. Soft earth, sea and sky tones are incorporated throughout the suites and staterooms, perfectly complementing the laid-back vibes of Polynesia.

“Our 2025 collection of itineraries spanning Polynesia offers guests the opportunity to discover the astounding nature, rich culinary heritage and deep-rooted cultural traditions of the South Pacific,” said Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises. “With only 670 guests on board our ultra-premium ships, there is no doubt that traveling through Polynesia with Oceania Cruises is by far the most relaxing and carefree way to experience the most relaxing and carefree place in the world.”
